I may have to quit the blog for lack of viewers and for wasting my time. I only did it for a class and now that the class is over, I have no need for this blog.

Finishing the HeartGold Boss Playthrough

I'm currently in the process of editing the Will thru Lance rematches. Once I'm done with those, I'm officially done wth the Playthrough. I still have the Rayquaza and Giovanni battles, not to mention the Latis event, but they requre an outside source: SoulSilver for Rayquaza ad events for Giovani and Latios.

I may start a Pikmin Playthrough/semi-Speedrun soon.

I BEAT THORTON!!!

60th post.

I finally beat Thorton. Four times against him and countless losses in the Battle Factory getting to him and I fnally beat the dang guy. Now I'll never return there again.

The end of the Pokemon HeartGold Boss Playthrough is near. I need to beat Lance again and I am finished.

A bunch of battles

Okay, that's 29 and I'm editing 34 and I have 35 planned. So that's...SEVEN BATTLES! Holy crud. I also Brawled once, but my camera battery died mid-battle and the lag is too intense to even bother.

Gen V Stuff

The playe characters are older than the norm. Good. A 19-year-old shouldn't be playing Pokemon as an 11-year-old.

The Starters are (supposedly) shown. The four-legged one is the Fire. I thought it'll be the Grass, but guess not.

I think the Water will be an Ice, the Fire will be either Fighting or Psychic (BETTER NOT BE FIGHTING), and the Grass...not sure...Dragon maybe? If the Fire does end up Fighting, then the Grass should be Flying, although its shape makes no sense to be a Flying. If the Fire ends up Psychic, then...

My favorite Starters are:

Squirtle in Kanto (Ivysaur is still among my favorite Pokemon, but I like Squirtle's evolutionary line)

Chikorita in Johto

Torchic in Hoenn

Piplup in Sinnoh

Gym Leader Rematches Completed

Finishef with all 16 of them. Now I hope I'll beat Thorton.

Gym Leader Rematches

I got Blue's number and I've started to record the Gym Leaders for their rematch videos. Once I get the proper editing finished, I'll be done with HGBP 72 (Misty Rematch) and the intro to Aftermath 11.

And no, I don't know what the Aftermath questions will be for Aftermath 11.

...Pokedex time.

Since I can't just get Blue's number that easy I have to wait a few days if not tomorrow to get the number.

In the meantime, I've ben working on the Dex a bit. I got 130 now. This includes Squirtle, Torchic, and their immediate evolutions. Pathetic at this point. Normally, I just get all the Pokemon right away. I did just that with Pearl, but I had the Gameshark SP to help me. Now, I could just get almost everyone legit. Anyway, I'm not sure how to get Kyogre to appear.

Since I can't upload 47, I'll upload 48. Okay, it turns out that I can't upload videos larger than 100 MB. Most of the HGBP videos after this are larger, so I'll have to upload what I can.

I got to Thorton, but he haxed me to death. Not doing it again for now. I recorded the loss.

The title says it all. Now all I need is to beat Thorton and my playthrough is almost completed.

Palmer

I beat Palmer, which will be included in the HeartGold Boss Playthrough with the other Frontier Brains. This means I must beat Thorton, whose facility is dificult. I ALMOST beat the second set of 7 in the Factory. It was so close it's no longer funny.

Battle Frontier and other stuff

First off, I battled chizz112 and it's on YouTube.

MVP: Slowking (for once)

Second off, I don't like a ceratin move in a certain Pokemon in my HGBP Team, but the move I want to replace it with is a move tutor move, so I need to get a bunch of BP for it.

Third off, I battled Palmer, but I lost. It was close, though. If it wasn't for that critical...

Fourth off, HGBP 46 will come soon.

Fifth off, I'm not going to record the Frontier Brains on my HGBP until I already recorded and won all five of them. Among them is Thorton, whose facility is dificult to even beat one guy. I already got my first 7-win streak there and I really want to finish that. I heavily doubt I'll ever get that gold sticker thingy for any of the Brains since they'll use the Legendary OUs.

Sixth off, only Legault and Saria are under Lv60. Once I get them to Lv60, I'll try Red. If lose, I'll try again at Lv 65, then Lv70, then Lv75. I know I'll win if I push to Lv80, but that's a last resort.

Seventh off, I really need to start that Photography essay, so that's it.

Sub-Pass Fail

In PBR, I really want to get that Roserade outfit, so I went to Neon Colosseum. On one of the battles there, Aqualad of my Mono-Water Team (Vaporeon) used Substitute and Baton Pass to Gary (Gastrodon). Guess what? Neither Gastrodon or the Substitute appeared at all. It was a null space until the Sub broke.

I still found it odd. I wonder if it happens all the time. Comment here or message me on YouTube.

There has to be a way to make this blog more popular, so I've decided to upload future episodes of the HeartGold Boss Playthrough in the blog.

But now...where to begin? I think I'll start in Suicune since Aftermath 5 will begin soon and Aftermath 6 will be next week (Episodes 35-40), so I'm going to start at Episode 41 (Suicune).

Caught them. They will be Parts 49 and 50. What's awesome is that they didn't took long.

Long Stall War

I got PBR yesterday and man, the Neon Colosseum is HARD! My PikWall team did not go so well, but my PikWater (my Mono-Water S2) team beat it after the long semifinal in which TridentIII and his opponent Aqualad were at a long stall war since both have Substitute, Aqualad can only attack with Ice Beam and TridentIII can only attack Aqualad with Knock Off. Did I mention both have Leftovers? Also, the enemy had my Lanturn, who has Thunder Wave and Attract done on TridentIII.

Man I'm lucky I got the good team members when I fought Rosie.

Wi-Fi Intros

Once I have PBR, I'm changing the Wi-Fi Intro. It'll be separated into three: SSBB, Mario Kart (Includes DS and Wii), and Pokemon (Includes Pearl, HeartGold, and Battle Revolution). The Mario Kart vids will combine, meaning that if I get PBR before I do another Mario Kart vid, the name will be Mario Kart Wi-Fi #15, instead of MKWii 10 or MKDS 6. Since I haven't used HeartGold for any battle, the number in Pearl won't change.

The length of the intro will be the same: 6.1 seconds. The music from SSBB will remain the same for the SSBB Intro, as will happen with the MKWii pic (unless I decide to change) on the Mario Kart Intro. I have not decided on a Pokemon pic (yet), but I could either have a clever pic of a Shiny Gardevoir/Gallade being affected by Seismic Toss (because the animation in PBR is AWESOME!!!) or a HG pic of me, Sabrina, and a Shiny Gardevoir/Gallade (because I like Shiny gardevoir/Gallade and Sabrina).

I'm on Mt. Silver on the HGBP, but I'm not going to take on Red now, as there are quite a lot of PokeBosses to capture first.

I caught Latias. I'l check what Part it's on. Judging by how much I've done so far and the parts I did today, I'd say 37.

Kanto

I'm on Kanto, but before I do anything in it, I need to make Aftermath 3. Luckily in HGSS, you can Fly to Route 26/Indigo Plateau and it serves as a midpoint for flight on Jhoto and Kanto. This means you don't have to be stuck on Kanto when doing the Magnet Train/EXPN Card sidequest.

If I remember right, there is a Rocket Grunt which has the missing Power Plant part. He'll be in the HGBP.

Lance. Lance? LAAAAAANNNNCE!!!

I finally beat that dumb Lance! I used Lv...40 guys (Saria was Lv. 41 when I got to him due to EXP. Share). Wow. I prettyuch did to Clair as I did Lance, even though I initially didn't want to.

Aftermath Question 4

It will be in two parts. I'm telling you this early here and not in YouTube so you, the reader, can come back here to check my progress.

The question is: Who was the hardest Legendary Pokemon you've caught [without resorting to a Master Ball]?

Part 1 is stationary Legends such as Ho-Oh, Groudon, Rayquaza, Giratina, etc.

Part 2 is roaming Legends such as Raikou, Cresselia, Latios, etc.

By the way, I'm still training for the Elite Four. Even though I beat Clair using underleveled Pokemon, I don't think I can do the same with Lance.
